Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to present the pastor of the local church as a teacher of church history. Three theses make up this project. First, the pastor should be a teacher of adults in the local church. Second, church history should be taught in the local church. Third, a good way to teach church history in the local church is by using a chronological episodic arrangement of primary documents. Chapter five of this project demonstrates this approach in a lesson series entitled 'Adventures in Church History'.
