Abstracto

There are two basic suppositions in this project report. These are that when a preacher and the persons listening to his or her sermon are of the same personlality type the response to the sermon by the listener will be more positive than when their types differ; and when a preacher and those persons listening to his or her sermon are of differing personality types communication is impeded. Data was gathered by using both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and eight sermons preached with the same congregation during one twelve-week period. The thesis was supported by the findings of this project.
