- Abstract
- This paper establishes the necessity for the use of theological reflection in the supervision of church planters in a multi-ethnic/cultural setting. It explores the use of theological reflection by supervisor and church planter in order to be relevant in an ever-changing ministry environment. The method used for this project is what is known as the 'grounded theory' approach, because the project calls for qualitative research that seeks to include diversity and quality assessment, both biblically and theologically, to build theory grounded in reality. Supervisors and church planters must adapt to changing population patterns circumstances of ministry, and unexpected events.
