The purpose of the project was to transform the tradition based Sunday School program of First Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas, into one in which decisions were made on the basis of integrity of purpose. The project consisted of three phases, including training of facilitators, activities to change the attitude and understanding, and the development of the purpose statement and goals. The project results were mixed. A strong document stating the purpose and goals of the Sunday School was developed. Some attitudinal change was indicated though the full scope of change envisioned by the student was not achieved.
