  • This study focuses on the promotion of Christian discipleship in a Baptist Church. A sample of congregants was recruited and afforded a treatment consisting of eight seminars, a series of topical sermons and other support. Through the administration of a pre-test and post-test the project measures the discipleship growth of the experimental group as compared with two control groups within the context and three control groups external to the context. The outcome indicates that the experimental group does grow in Christian discipleship, as indicated by selective measures of religiosity.
