- Abstract
- In the past 40 years, many intellectual Chinese Christians in North America accepted the call to serve, willing to become full-time ministers. Most of them had very good jobs in the workplace and were in the leadership positions when they accepted the call. From quitting their jobs or taking early retirement, the process of becoming full-time ministers is a great challenge. Once they became full time ministers, the challenge of pastoring at churches is even greater. This dissertation discusses these challenges and how to overcome them. It also describes the prospects of serving at workplace in the 21st century.
