  • This project is the author's effort to create a dialogue between Mount Olive Christian Church's history and that of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in order that the congregation may claim its Disciples identity and clarify its vision of ministry as it celebrates its fortieth anniversary. A variety of activities were used to communicate the larger denominational story and four theologically foundational principles as well as identifying twelve aspects of Mount Olive Christian Church's congregational life that was reflective of the Disciples tradition.
