  • The purpose of the ministry research project is to offer a model by which lay persons can be trained to increase their Bible study skills, knowledge and application to daily living. The ministry project involves a ten-week course, including pretesting and posttesting. The research focuses upon biblical, theological and historical use of the Scriptures by lay persons. Research further involved the establishment of the need for the project at the place of ministry. The basic conclusion drawn from the research and ministry project reveals a strong need for this type of equipping ministry through the church.
