  • This project is based on the author's ministry as a college chaplain with women in degree programs seeking business careers after graduation. The study demonstrates the critical issues for this population in the developmental period of young adulthood and implications for ministry with them. The four issues and concerns that arise from the research are: the meaning of success, maintaining the balance of career and family, valuing connection in relationships and applying faith to business ethics. When these issues and concerns are addressed and understood in relationship to women's psychological and faith development, women are enabled by those in ministry to develop in all aspects of life more fully.
