  • This project focuses on the church's response in ministry to the needs of young children and their parents in the Christian community and home. Thirteen parents (eleven women and two men) considered developmental and child-rearing models, researched their findings and reflected personal experience within a supportive atmosphere. The result of their interaction was a cyclical, sensitizing process which could have transferable applications within other contexts. One significant response was the design and drafting of a multi-phased, process oriented curriculum for enabling concerned adults in a ministry of nurturing children through the church and home.
