Abstract
  • The author perceived many marriage relationships to be deteriorating because of an inability to adjust to the erosion of romantic illusions. These illusions have helped create communication blocks in marriage relationships. The project was designed to cause a positive change in the interpersonal perception of individual members within their marriages. Action research is the design methodology. The Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis Test is the primary testing instrument. Significant change occurred in three areas: attitudes, individual profiles, and selected temperament traits. Additionally, communication blocks were identified by participants.
