- Abstract
- This project intends to assist the Sarawak Chinese Methodist pastors, in particular, and all pastors, in general, in knowing and applying the essential elements of relevant application in preaching through a teaching seminar on these elements. The researcher invited six Chinese-speaking pastors of different ages, genders, languages, and church sizes to cassette-tape three sermons before and another three after the teaching seminar. The sermons were evaluated according the list of essential elements designed for this project. The pre-test and post-test results showed that the pastors used 47% and 73% respectively of the elements, an improvement of 28%.
