  • This project develops, implements, and evaluates ministries to Hispanic Americans in the changing neighborhood of Johnson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church (Santa Ana, Calif). The project brings together Johnson Chapel and two Hispanic congregations in an ethnic partnership. These churches conduct a combined fellowship worship service, a mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico, and two Spanish-language worship services at Johnson Chapel. These partnership activities move the congregation to positive growth in attitudes toward the Hispanic American community.
