Abstrait

This project was intended to evaluate the significance of doctrinal preaching done in an expositional framework. The author contrasts the value of doctrinal preaching to topical, life situation preaching currently popular in our culture and makes a case for the relevance and significance of doctrinal preaching within an expositional framework. The project includes the results of questionnaires given to participants before, during and at the conclusion of a series of fourteen sermons given by the author from Romans 1-8. The challenges of the preaching process are described as well as the comprehensive positive results.
