Abstract
  • The author designed this doctor of ministry project to explore the present day legacy of the Irish worldview theme, with counter themes, of Celtic spirituality. The project reviewed worldview, contextualization and biblical elements relating to making Irish disciples. The literature search conducted followed the development of Celtic spirituality along with two counter themes or antithetical elements, Christianity and the English in Ireland. Fifty-two questionnaires and three interviews of Irish were evaluated with the literature research to formulate and understanding of present day Celtic spirituality in western central Ireland. Irish Roman Catholicism embodied it most fully.
