- The goal of the research was to determine if participation in helping people by showing God's love in practical ways would create members of the Milton SDB Church a greater commitment in sharing the gospel with them. Two projects of home repair were secured with 33 people participating and 19 serving as a comparison group. Both groups received identical training and completed a Likert scale pretest and posttest questionaire. Comparisons of the results were made along with interviews which supported the hypothesis that helping people increased the commitment to share the gospel with them.
