Abstracto

This project proposes to identify pastoral care needs of members of a local Southern Baptist congregation and to address those needs through a pulpit preaching ministry. Drawing on biblical and historical examples of preaching as pastoral care, the project employs questionnaires and a preaching response group to determine needs and to measure the effectiveness of preaching in responding to them.
