Abstract
  • Congregational teaching days when followed up by extended (months-long) periods of reflection and action are workable, scripturally attested ways to inspire/instruct the church. They break down the artificial clergy-laity barrier and afford participants the thrill of personal Bible study in a group setting. This D.Min. project was extremely well supported and executed within the context of the International Churches of Christ. Working through an advisory group, the candidate learned the value of a less controlling teaching method, experiencing significant growth through the process.
