Abstract
  • Among the leading issues facing the twentieth-century church are those embracing its view and use of Scripture. The church is healthy when it is producing men and women who know the Word of God. The project was designed to guide a group of lay persons to enhance their Bible study skills. Ten Bible study 'methods' were studied and applied to passages in the Pastoral Epistles. By including the latter the participants not only increased their understanding and ability to do Bible study, they also observed the results of its application in a specific biblical text.
