Abstrait

The purpose of this research project was to enhance the pastoral care clergy offer cardiac patients. Chapter 1 discussed background information and research methodology. Chapter 2 presented a theological consideation of heart in biblical thought; cardiac pastoral care was explored. Chapter 3 examined the program design; the process of invitation, challenges, goals, preparation, testing documents and consultants were analyzed. Chapter 4 presented the program as implemented. The conference results revealed enhancement of pastoral care. Chapter 5 drew conclusions for the ministers who participated, the pastoral care to cardiac patients, the leader, and future research.
