  • Though all evangelical pastors and the vast majority of mature Christians know that Jesus has commanded us to 'make disciples,' many have been unable to practice disciple-making. This project examines the biblical and historical roots of disciple-making and presents a method of equipping parents to disciple their children. This type of face-to-face disciple-making restores the highly relational nature of Christian discipleship. Through a workshop and ongoing contact with their pastor, parents were mentored in parent-child disciple-making and spent twenty weeks developing a disciple-making relationship with their teenage children. All parents intended to continue working with their children.
