Abstract
  • Leaders are necessary for ministry to happen inside and outside of the Church. Each generation of church leaders must consider how they will empower the coming generations toward ministry fruitfulness. This study examined the process and intentionality of leadership development in Bible churches in the Greater Houston area. A comparative analysis of Paul's development of Timothy, from 1-2 Timothy, as well as secondary literature, books written the past 10 years, read by Bible church pastor's and face-to-face interviews provided insights for this researcher to aid pastors in their development of leaders. If pastor's follow Paul's model they can have a purpose and plan for leadership development in their church.
