The purpose of this project was to develop a disciple-making strategy for adults at Calvary Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana. The project director collected data and developed adult lifestyle profiles for the church and its ministry area. The project director used the profiles to lead the disciple-making strategy team to assess the effectiveness of the church’s current disciple-making strategy. The project researched adult disciplemaking and adult disciple-making strategies, examined existing models of adult disciplemaking, and surveyed leaders from a select group of churches to develop a list of best practices for Calvary. The project director then formed a disciple-making strategy team by selecting and training thirteen members from the church. The project director led the team through six training sessions to develop an adult disciple-making strategy for Calvary. The project director and the team presented the strategy to the church elders for approval. The elders approved the strategy and recommended it to the church for adoption. The project director and the team then presented the strategy to the church for approval.
