Abstracto

This thesis-project creates a training model for church leaders that combines biblical and theological reflection in the context of field training. It has three primary focus areas: (1) the person and work of the church planter; (2) best practices and methodologies; and (3) principles of multiplication found in church planting movements. It provides an adult learning model utilizing an action-reflection methodology in the context of field-based study within the parameters of a Doctor of Ministry program. This design enables church planting leaders to synthesize their personal ministry experiences in light of emerging strategies in order to plant healthy, reproducing churches.
