  • This project examines the leadership practices of Sharon Baptist Church to understand the complex relationship between the pulpit and the pew in order that leadership may be shared throughout the church; ministry is multiplied from a 'me' to 'we' philosophy. The central question of this project is how do we transition the pulpit and the pew in such a way that we engage the whole body of believers at Sharon Baptist church? In order to answer this question, this project assesses the past and present transitions of the pulpit and pew relationships and suggests future shifts that will cultivate relationships that are not co-dependent.
