  • What does it mean that Jesus Christ is our great high priest and that we worship 'in and through' Him? How might this reality affect corporate worship? A random group of 10 individuals from a local church participated in a two day workshop. They compared the role of the high priest in the O.T. to the role of Jesus Christ as the sole mediator between humankind and God. They also compared the worship of the triune God to the current worship practices in their church. The most noteworthy conclusion: too many mainline churches know nothing of the Holy Spirit.
