Abstract
  • During July through December 1988 at Memorial Baptist Church, Parkston, South Dakota, computer-interactive lesson-authoring software was tested for its teaching aid value in sixteen teaching situations with adults. The software provided the teaching mechanisms; the teacher provided the information to be taught by that software. Journals were kept of the lesson creation and lesson teaching experiences. Some participants were interviewed following the learning experiences. It appears that this kind of software is an effective aid in helping adult learners grasp a body of information introduced to them by traditional teaching methods and which they can then discuss together.
