Abstract
  • The purpose of this ministry project is to improve the personal evangelism skills of the participating members of the First Baptist Church (Grayson, Georgia) by training them in doctrine and in a dialogical methodology of communicating the gospel. To fulfill this purpose, twelve church members were selected to participate in eight, two-hour seminars. The first hour of the seminars dealt with eight foundational doctrines of Christianity. The second hour of the seminars dealt with essential elements of evangelism and dialogical communication. The test results and the participant evaluations confirmed the validity of this approach to evangelism training.
