Abstracto

Consisting of a series of six workshops on topics such as ministry, bereavement, the funeral and scriptural beliefs, this project tested a learner-centered, integrative, experiential, theologically reflective model for consciousness-raising in the context of Christian funeral ministry. Evaluated using qualitative research methodology, the results indicate that this process encourages and enables persons to reflect on their experiences, discovering new possibilities for enhancing funeral ministry in both individual and corporate areas. The analysis provides insights and possibilities that enable both clergy and congregations to be actively involved in this ministry.
