- Abstract
- Empowering individuals to prosper and ministering to the least of these in our community requires more than just providing for their immediate needs. It requires ministering holistically to the body, mind, and spirit, and breaking the cycle of poverty. This project reveals the various causes of homelessness and outlines a customized plan of ministry to prevent homelessness, and to rapidly re-house those without shelter. The target population includes those that have been disenfranchised, economically disadvantaged, and the underemployed. This initiative requires working collaboratively with various ministries, and outside agencies to provide wrap around services, build in sustainability, and restore hope.
