This project establishes a church personnel committee at the Azalea Baptist Church (Norfolk, Virginia). This project provides a vehicle for structured ministry for personnel. Research was done through informal discussions, a called deacons' meeting, scheduled-structured interviews, congregational questionnaire, mailed questionnaire, training evaluation questionnaire, and follow-up questionnaire. The conclusion reached by this research indicated a church personnel committee was needed to establish a proactive ministry of administration to replace a reactive style of informal administration of personnel.
