This project is an attempt to explain that there is a great need to revise, review and reexamine the current curriculum used in our Provincial theological colleges in the Anglican Church of Kenya today. The first chapter describes some complaints from the parishioners in the diocese of Kirinyaga of clergy who are currently serving in various parishes and are not qualified enough to meet the needs of the Christians in the pews. The second chapter is an outline of curriculum issues in ACK colleges. The third chapter gives Biblical Foundations for Theological Education, and the impact of these foundations on theological education today. The fourth chapter presents the research data analysis based on the five categories of the respondents who completed and returned the questionnaires. There respondents were: students, clergy, laity, tutors and bishops. An outline of the issues and concerns put forward by the respondents shows that review and evaluation of the current curriculum is urgent and important. It is hoped that this thesis will stimulate both the Province and Provincial theological colleges in the Anglican church of Kenya to revise, review and reexamine the current curriculum in light of the suggestions given.
