This project proposes, prepares, and presents a seminar curriculum to train practicing pastors, evangelists, and ministry leaders in evangelistic, expository preaching. The curriculum defines conversion and the nature of the gospel, the doctrines of sin and atonement, and the importance of the invitation or summons in an evangelistic message. The curriculum also considers inductive narrative preaching and the influence of modernism, postmodernism, and the American ethos on the response of unchurched Americans to gospel proclamation.
