- Abstract
- The purpose of the project was to design and implement a program to assist in the assimilation of new adult members into a church. Both the descriptive survey method and the experimental method were employed in the project. An assimilation scale was developed and used to measure a person's level of assimilation. An eight-week new members seminar was designed to assist the new members. The seminar addressed eight characteristics of an assimilated church member. Two hypotheses were established. Both of the hypotheses were accepted.
