This project reviews almost four decades of ministry in a variety of parishes and cites potential application of interim ministry in retrospect. A review of the history of interim ministry development through the organization of the Alban Institute and MATC follows. Three Kansas churches are researched through the interim process and possible models of interim ministry are suggested for consideration. Theological perspectives and biblical models are reviewed. The relationships of judicatories, congregations and interim pastors are explored.
