The purpose of this study was to discover the importance of leadership formation for building healthier congregations in Brazil. Its context was the sixth conference of the Methodist Church. Some churches are declining, some plateaued, and some are growing. This project intended to identify principles for leadership formation analyzing their importance in churches' well-being. It also included a summary of health characteristics of a growing congregation.
