Abstracto

This project analyzes the current educational program and establishes a model based on the experiential program of church school and teacher's training at Jin Kwan Methodist Church (Seoul, Korea). The results of this project revealed that the teachers have a strong sense of vocation and commitment as teachers. However, they lack self-confidence as teachers due to their inadequate training and preparation. This project calls for redefinition of Christian education, that is, the focus of future church education should be shifted from the 'form of schooling and teaching' to the 'form of exchange among the communities of faith and life'.
