- This project is designed to create within the members of Regency Park Baptist Church a desire to identify and resolve conflict through a series of sermons and small group sessions. The primary purpose of the project is to reveal to church leadership the necessity of dealing with conflict in a biblical manner. The ultimate goal is to lead the focus group to develop a strategy for healing relationships in times of conflict, and then to create a desire within the church to adopt that strategy. All the material within the project is designed to approach the positive side of conflict. The sermons focus on the biblical material while the small group sessions deal with both biblical and secular materials. While this project will not fully equip the church to manage conflict in the future, it is designed to be the first step of several in conflict management.
