- This project proposes a new paradigm of mission for local churches, drawing on the work of modern ecclesiologists and missiologists and on the birth of the Christian mission as recorded in Acts. Based on the dynamic that enabled the early church to move from its focus on Jerusalem to Antioch and the wider world, the project develops an act of ministry that seeks to transform the life and mission of the Middle Island (NY) Presbyterian Church, presenting a program that could be extended to other congregations.
