  • This project develops a programme for use in clergy self-care and support groups. The objective of the work is to address stress among clergy by developing collegial support and clarifying participant's visions of ministry. The programme is designed to run for six sessions, each lasting a full day. The author uses qualitative research methodology to describe and evaluate the experience of two groups who used the programme. The research shows that building trusting collegial relationships is a valuable exercise which can be approached systematically.
