- The basis of this project was directed toward the strengthening of the relationship between a small rural church and the declining community of which it was a part. There were two broad objectives that the project worked to attain. The first was that the church members would work to better understand and minister to the needs of its community. The second was to involve the community in helping to share the Gospel. Both goals were accomplished through the planning and implementation of a camp meeting. Church and community members worked together for thirteen weeks to accomplish this goal.
