Because of population growth and change, First Baptist Church (Moriarty, New Mexico) is in a transitional community. The project led the church to take an in-depth look at itself and its community with the development of a long-range plan the immediate objective. The ultimate desire is to help the church be more effective in the changing setting. The long-range project committee presented a long-range plan to the church which was accepted in a unanimous vote. The plan was put to work immediately and has been helpful.
