Abstrait
  • Godly leadership is the crucible of Christ that shapes a particular church community. However, in many rural communities, the leadership, both ordained and lay, are not sufficiently theologically grounded and educationally cultivated to meet the challenges of leadership. The author created this ministry tool to affirm, inform, empower and bridge the gap between a pastor and ministry leaders, particularly the deacon's ministry, in a rural Black Baptist church. To that end, this effort reaffirms that church leadership must be godly and organizationally proficient.
