Abstracto

The project created an inter-organizational community task force that included both religious and secular entities to address the needs of 'at-risk' or 'under-served' teens in the Yelm community. The project included a strategy to create the community task force, and team building principles to help the task force to operate effectively. The project used the Myers-Briggs Personality Index to understand positive differences between team members and enhance the team's strength through diversity. The team utilized business principles of 'silos,' and 'Mutual accountability' through the Oz Principle. The task force produced a recommended community model report for helping youth.
