- The purpose of the project was to train a select group of adult church members in Toomsuba Baptist Church to understand the biblical view of spiritual gifts and to identify their own spiritual gifts. The project included preparing and presenting a sermon series on the definition and use of spiritual gifts to create interest in participating in a workshop on understanding and discovering on'es spiritual gifts. The workshop lasted seven weeks and included an exit interview between each participant and the project director. The sermons, workshop, and project director's growth were all evaluated using the following methods of evaluation: expert evaluation, pretests/post-tests, and ministerial reflection.
