Abstracto

The purpose of this project is to develop a multiethnic church-growth strategy for Lakeshore Church, New Orleans, Louisiana. The strategy model described in the current edition of The Project in Ministry Design Handbook of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary was utilized for this project report. Additional purposes of this project were to develop and accomplish project goals and professional goals to strengthen the project director’s strategy development and professional leadership. The project director researched local demographics and cultural dynamics of the Lakeview community to determine ministry tartes for multiethnic church growth. Existing models of churches that include all culture and ethnicities were then explored to determine best practices. The project director and the strategy-writing team proceeded by developing a multiethnic church-growth strategy for Lakeshore Church, which can also be utilized by other individuals, ministries, churches, organization, and networks that are seeking to grow as a diverse congregation.
