  • Chinese are the oldest, largest, remarkably homogeneous ethnic population on earth. This project undertakes a qualitative, historical, and descriptive study of eleven churches in areas of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Penang. In these Chinese urban churches where good growth has taken place with holistic evangelization and charismatic-type pastoral leadership, fruitful urban church planting and growth in Chinese communities emerge. The project includes personal visits, field notes, interviews, books, brochures, church anniversary issues, and responses to questionnaires.
