It was the thesis of this project that a form analysis of sermons preached in congregations reporting increasing levels of worship attendance and those reporting decreasing levels of worship attendance would show a difference in form. Samples of each group were selected from five geographical areas and submitted to a form analysis using a model based on the theories of David Buttrick. The study did not show any significant difference in form between the two groups.
