  • The purpose of this ministry project was to develop a program of assimilating newcomers into the congregation of Trinity Baptist Church which would result in both the spiritual and numerical growth of the congregation. Chapter 2 presented an overview of God's desire to find a channel through which He could be a blessing to all the people of the world. God first called Abraham with a promise that through his blessing, he could be a blessing to all the people of the world. Next God called the people of Israel. When it failed to fulfill the covenant, God established the Church, and the people of God became anyone who would accept the covenant of passing on the blessings of God. The model for ministry is based on Jethro's advice to Moses using leaders of ten, leaders of fifty, and leaders of one hundred.
