Abstract
  • Biblical narrative preaching is a new method of preaching among the Chinese churches; moreover there is very little literature in this aspect. Narrative means story. Since story telling is attractive to modern people, there is a need to preach a sermon like a story. This dissertation is a study of narrative hermeneutic of the book of Jonah, and the example of writing exegesis narrative sermons. As a result, this dissertation provides methodology on biblical narrative hermeneutic, the style of narrative plot, and the narrative sermons example. The process of how to gather sermon information is not within the discussion of this dissertation.
